Our community usually stays at a very high occupancy level... as such we always advise prospective residents to leave a risk-free "open deposit" to be in line for what they're looking for... It's a $100 deposit that you leave to get in line for what you're looking for in the future... you get it back if we don't get you the apartment you were looking for, and holds your place in line (it's usually the only way one can get into a one bedroom apartment around here)...
